A history-making television presenter; Sophie is one of the first wheelchair users in the world to host primetime TV, and a pioneer for disabled representation in the media.

Her career has redefined what’s possible in broadcasting, breaking barriers in both the UK and the USA.

Sophie first gained national recognition in the UK when she appeared in a groundbreaking BBC series called ‘Beyond Boundaries’ (2004). From there, she transitioned into television presenting, becoming one of the few disabled women to front major network programs.

In the UK, she became a household name as one of the lead presenters for Channel 4’s Paralympics coverage, bringing the excitement of the Games to millions while also shifting perceptions of disability in sport and society.

Her work with BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 has spanned genres from current affairs to human interest storytelling.

Her most recent documentary, ‘Fight to Fly’, was co-produced by her own production company ‘Making Space Media’ and Reece Witherspoon’s production company ‘Hello Sunshine’.
